+ George Clark

Established in 2018 by Pavilion, Jatiwangi Art Factory and artist George Clark, the West Yorkshire West Java Cooperative Movement is a framework to enable creative dialogue and exchange between the regions of West Yorkshire in the UK, and West Java in Indonesia.

To date the West Yorkshire West Java Cooperative Movement has supported residencies and new projects by Harry Meadley, George Clark, Ismal Muntaha, Isabella Carreras and Kerstin Doble.

In July/August 2019 Jatiwangi-based artists Tedi Nurmanto and Ade Ahmad Sujai will undertake residencies in West Yorkshire.

Details will be added here in the coming months.

Aspects of the West Yorkshire West Java Cooperative Movement are funded by British Council, and through the support of the National Organising Committee for Indonesia as Market Focus Country at the 2019 London Book Fair.
