Leeds Art Walk

June’s Leeds Art Walk focuses on Index, a fringe festival during Yorkshire Sculpture International, and includes a screening of work by Pavilion’s Artists’ Moving Image Network.
Index is a new visual arts event for Leeds and Wakefield. The programme takes place this summer during Yorkshire Sculpture International and helps you navigate the diverse art and culture that our two cities have to offer.
5.30pm: Index: Leeds Festival Hub, Yorkshire House, Greek Street, LS1 5SH
Introduction to projects, exhibitions and events from the festival team.
6.10pm: Parallel Architectures IIIII at Leeds Town Hall, Leeds, The Headrow, Leeds LS1 3AD
James Thompson and Annabel Taylor-Munt’s new work responds to the former Bridewell prison and Leeds Town Hall as a transformative space where new identities are constructed and performed.
6.50pm: Screening: Work by Pavilion’s Artists’ Moving Image Network at Pavilion, 42 Briggate, Leeds, LS1 6NU
Pavilion’s Artist Moving Image Network is a group of moving image practitioners (artists, researchers, programmers) working in and around Leeds.
Leeds Art Walk takes place every month and is free to attend. Just turn up at 5.30pm or join us along the way.
